New House

So after 3 months of waiting, patiently and not so, we finally closed on our house on July 31st! It was stressful even until the last minute. When we got to the closing table at 2pm no money had been transferred between the banks. So we just started signing papers and by 4pm every thing had gone through! We are so happy.Everything fell into place also for us getting a truck for the next day to move all of our stuff. What a blessing all the people who showed up from the Parker Ward and our new ward to help us move everything out. I really cant believe that we did it. There are still a few little things but overall everything is in our house. Our house does look like a box city but at least it is ours. We are getting everything in ship shape for our open house. We will let you know when that is going down. Also we will post some pics of the house as soon as it is ready. We love you all and we hope that everything is going great, for all 3 of you who read this blog.

So we are nearing the finish! We cant believe that we are almost there. It looks better in person than in my pics, sorry I am not a photographer.

Ize and House update!

So lets start with the best first! Ize is 5 1/2 months old, I know I am supposed to know how many weeks is but I'll leave that to Jill. She is growing big and is a great and healthy baby.

And now the House! It is coming along great! We are really excited. Please pray that everything keeps going and there are no hickups along the way and we can move into our new house!

That's the sink in the corner and the big thing on the right is a huge pantry, we are going to have to get Jill a bigger step ladder. The fridge is going right to the left of the pantry.

That empty space against the back wall is where the dishwasher is going, and the other empty space closest to us is where the range is going.

That's the upstairs bath, nice tile and a great color, we love it.

This one is one its side, but that is the shower part of the tub.

Thats the entry way from the little vanity area to the bath tub and toilet.

This is the color of the master bedroom, I really like the color.

Life

Yesterday Izebelle was weighed and she is 19 pounds 2 ounces and 26.5 inches long. Crazy! She is growing so fast. I can't believe it. It feels like we just got back from the hospital last week and now she is eating solids and starting to sit by herself. Its amazing. Before we know it we'll be dropping her off at school and bawling the whole way home. Not only is Ize developing, but so is the house. We went by the other day and it looks amazing. We are excited. Its really coming together and starting to look like how we imagined. I can't believe how time has passed us by. Soon enough we'll be watching Izebelle crawl across the floor of our new house. Its exciting and scary at the same time, but we've gone through a lot to come this far so I know we're ready for it.

The House!

So everyone is wondering the progress of the house so here is a couple of pics on what it looks like now. The inside pictures are what our house looks like without the drywall up. Dont be alarmed they will put up the drywall and everything will look spiffy! Hope you like the pics.


So this is looking at the bathroom where the tub will be.

This is looking at the kitchen. We knocked two walls and an arch way down so we can have it be more open.

This is the back door. It goes back to the back yard, you will see that in a minute.

Here is the back of the house. The two top windows are bedrooms and the bottom right window is the little downstairs living area and the one on the left is the downstairs bedroom.

So there is a rundown of what the house looks like on the outside and the inside. I will give you updates on the house and how the progress is going. We hope you like it and we hope they hurry up and finish so we can get out of where we are living and into our own place!

Party at our House!

So it was thinking recently and our house sounds like a great party! I mean someone almost always has peed their pants and throws up, hope its always Ize with those. There is always some sort of screaming or crying going on. Every good party has to have an emotional break down of some sort. Ize tries to talk this babble talk that is like she has had one to many! Sometimes Jill and I are so tired that we act drunk, thats the closest we will ever get. Something usually gets broken every day, usually by Marty. There is an occaisional fight that breaks out. Clothes are usually thrown all over the house. Whenever I wake up I can barely move and sometimes when I wake up I dont know where I am! So if you think about it, it sounds like a party at my house everyday! Anyone who wants to party with Ize can gladly come over and "Party" for a day!

Eating for the first time!

So Ize is 4 months old now and she is getting to be a big girl, and what comes with that? Big girl food. I thought it meant ribs and burgers but I guess it means rice cereal. Oh well it was still fun. She did great the first night and not so hot the next, but Jill does a great job and she finished it.

I promise I did not put booze into her food to make her eat better but it sure looks that way.

I dont know if she was just tired of the flash from dad taking so many pics or if it was she was full, most likely the first.

Second night, did not start out so great.

Much wailing!

But all is good and we got our Ize back. And she is a happy little girl. I'll let you know how it goes with the eating. See ya,
